Job description
Role Description: We are building a high-performing and adaptable Finance Team and are looking for someone to work effectively in the Financial Systems & Processes (FS&P) team as Synamedia enters an exciting scale-up phase. This is a key role as Synamedia establishes itself as an innovative and impactful global company. We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Senior Financial Analyst who has excellent financial systems experience and recent experience of working with Dynamics 365 for a multi-national company. They will have the ability to take initiative, produce results and collaborate effectively with a talented team. Responsibilities Analyse existing accounting processes in D365 understand pain points, identify areas for improvement, standardization, automation. Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance teams, IT and others where required to understand and document business requirements. Demonstrate Dynamics 365 Finance solution capabilities, propose comprehensive solutions based on Dynamics 365 Finance framework, contribute to process improvement workshops, support solution design to address business requirements. Document existing and future Finance business processes including system flows, roles and responsibilities, controls. Provide clear and thorough end user documentation as well as application support documents to include in the company’s knowledge base. Provide Dynamics 365 Finance SME support, investigate and identify root cause and resolve issues related to Finance Processes.
Solution testing, assist with user acceptance testing, end-user training. Personal Attributes · 5+ years' experience in Dynamics 365 Finance functional area configuration, customization and implementation of D365 FinOps components. Good understanding of D365 Finance processes including General ledger, Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Procurement, Taxes, Cash and bank management, Consolidations, Credit and collections, Fixed assets, Year-end closing, Chart of accounts, Dimensions, Controls, Audit, User security, Workflow, Posting ledgers. Previous experience streamlining and automating finance operational processes (AP, AR, GL etc.) Organized, diligent and hardworking, able to exhibit a high level of attention to detail. Strong analytical skills Collaborates well in a team, capable of planning ahead and managing time effectively in an environment with h workflow and tight deadlines. Ability to effectively challenge change requests and arrive at a practical conclusion aligned with Dynamics 365 best practice. Good verbal and written communication skills allied to commercial acumen Ability to quickly build rapport, deliver outstanding service Strong general financial knowledge, ideally a qualified accountantJob tags
