Job description

Develop and sustain backend connections with these external entities:

• Open banking platforms

• Accounting systems

• Take charge of the design, execution, and validation of framework components, utilizing established software development practices.

• Convert both functional and technical specifications into a comprehensive architecture and design, ensuring a positive experience for the end user.

• Lead efforts in innovation, focusing on enhancing performance, scalability, and system maintainability.

• Contribute to an emerging financial product that is in the initial phase of its development.

Qualifications -

A minimum of 8 years of proficiency in Python and familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.

At least 5 years of involvement with banking integrations, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting integrations.

A solid background of at least 2 years working with payment gateways and processors, such as Stripe.

Comprehensive experience in backend development, including familiarity with messaging queues, caching mechanisms, and understanding of various architectural patterns.

Proficient in test writing, including unit, integration, and performance testing.

Demonstrated experience in identifying, diagnosing, and solving performance and optimization issues, with a commitment to developing scalable solutions.

Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating scalable systems.

Practical experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, specifically with tools like GitHub Actions and AWS CodeDeploy.

A good understanding of cyber security principles.

Proficiency in using Postman for API testing and development.
