Job description
The Role:
Reporting to the Global Lead - Partner Operations, the Account Manager - Partner Operations will be responsible for the growth and performance of our Partner base.
Your role will include the following:
- Owning the Partner pipeline funnel for your allocated region, from conception through to onboarding execution, including price and contract negotiations.
- Completing full performance reviews for newly onboarded Partners to identify any weak points, and actioning any training needs during the trial period for new Partners.
- Document management, summarizing processes, learning and helping to replicate successful models across international markets.
- Creating business model conversion strategies in cities that are scaling and leading these conversions where required.
- Smoothing out any operational issues with your allocated Partners, in a timely and professional manner, including crisis and escalation management during the trial period for new Partners.
- Suggesting and implementing actions to improve the quality of partnership leads and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Conducting regular price reviews for new and existing Partners, and market research for new and existing markets, including but not limited to price analysis, competitor analysis etc.
- Working with internal teams on a series of different projects as required, to improve the overall operations and quality of Partnerships.
- Keeping up-to-date and familiar with all departmental operational changes to understand the sourcing requirements.
- Operational management of Partner facilities in your allocated region. This includes:
- Crisis management, problem solving and Partner complaint resolutions
- Ensuring high quality processing output
- Onboarding offboarding partner facilities
- Frequently meeting (virtually) our partners to understand their requirements and make sure they are able to follow the set processing guidelines
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring inventory is in stock for all allocated partners
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Must be able to conduct remote presentations, discussions and negotiations with international stakeholders.
- Strong presentation negotiation skills, with an understanding of budget restraints.
- Experience developing clear pipelines, channel programmes for partner recruitment processes.
- Must be comfortable analyzing large data sets and must possess the ability to express and present clear logical thinking.
- Must be able to demonstrate creative thought processes for lead generation.
- Must be organized and a self-starter.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably for a start-up.
- Hindi/ Urdu Language skills preferred.
- Ambitious entrepreneurial.
- Hungry for progression process-driven.
- Should be comfortable in multi-task in a high-energy environment
Desired, but not essential:
- Experience with Partner acquisition CRMs and/or digital sales.
- Exposure to business intelligence platforms such as Data Studio.
- Experience in working in different markets internationally, with strong cultural awareness.
- 2+ years of experience in a high growth start-up environment.
- Can ideally demonstrate a highly numerate and commercial mindset.
