About Business Line

PRoSE is a Portfolio Construction and Rebalancing system used by SSGA Portfolio managers to manage the Liability Driven Investment (LDI) and solutions portfolios for rebalancing, managing exposures and client overlay strategies for commingled, separately managed and externally managed funds. This solution provides predefined trade rebalancing algorithms and future considerations helping the PMs on investment decisions. It interacts with trading, holdings, compliance, risk, custom benchmarks, funding ratio monitors, portfolio optimizer and various applications.

Key Responsibilities & Experience Range

The ideal candidate will be:

• Contribute as a Senior Business Analyst involving in requirement gathering, functional analysis, documentation, integration testing, user acceptance testing and monitoring the PROSE application.
• Requirements includes new functional requirements / projects, trade workflow enhancements, report generations for clients, regulatory requirements, automation projects and migration projects.
• Deep analysis and detailed understanding of the system and capturing them in detail.
• Take over the knowledge from the vendor SME team to support the system from the captive.
• Manage the business priorities, plan releases major, and minor based on the business priorities.
• System and Data analysis on the integration points with trading platforms
• Plan and execute integration and user acceptance testing.
• Manage and share the Project Dashboard using Agile Practice using JIRA and supporting tools.
• Perform functional and data analysis for the support queries / defects raised.
• Utilize JIRA and supporting tools effectively, create required dashboard as per the project need.
• Collaborate with various teams (Business, Global IT counterparts, external application counterparts)
• Communicate effectively in verbal & written communications.

Skills & Knowledge

Qualification & Certifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT industry as Business Analyst
• Work experience in Trading systems & Multiple Asset Classes
• Investment Banking domain certification or CFA certification
• Master's Degree in any discipline

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• Solid Business Analyst experience in software development of finance application
• Detailed knowledge of the Asset Management or Investment Management industry with a focus on multi-asset class investing
• Experience with trading and reporting for funds, ETFs, futures, currency, bonds and TBAs.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
• Senior level presentation skills and project management responsibilities
• SDLC Agile practice, JIRA Tool
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written communications

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

• Basic database knowledge for data analysis independently using SQL queries.

• The Senior Business Analyst will become a product expert and help to ensure that our software products effectively aid our Portfolio Managers with their workflow for multi-asset class positioning and trading.
• The Senior Business Analyst will participate in the full software development lifecycle and contribute as a member of a feature-focused product development team.
• Managing a key portfolio construction system in one of the largest asset management domains
