Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our current network configuration and infrastructure. You will design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance. You will also provide troubleshooting and configuration support by using your strong technical skills in Linux and Windows environments and IP networking.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of network products like Router, switches (Nexus and IOS), load balancers, WAN Accelerators, SDWAN Devices Wireless, CISCO Meraki, Cisco ACI etc..
• Regular IOS upgrade and hotfixes.
• Responsible for implementing best practice/hardening.
• Regular changes in Network devices as per the requirements
• Managing and monitoring of log files of network devices
• Setup related documentation
• Add/Modify/Delete routes and fine tune network configuration.
• Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports
• Escalation and coordination with service provider for issue resolution
• Prepare and maintain operational and system documentation
• Responsible for performing Root Cause Analysis of Faults and providing corrective Actions.
Good to have :-
• Should have minimum 4+ year's hands on experience in various networking products such as routers, switches, wireless, SDWAN, Link and Server Load Balancer, WAN Optimizer, CISCO Meraki, and Cisco ACI.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP stack routing, switching and subnetting
• Expertise in Routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP.
• Expertise in HSRP/VRRP/GLBP and STP implementation.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and related components.
• AAA, SNMP, and other Network devices Management features
• Experience in configuring Trunk, VTP, VLANs
• Experience in implementing switch port security
• Experience in configuring IPSEC/GRE
• Able to work independently and efficiently on Wireless access points/WLC.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and documents.
• CCNA/CCNP certified.
• Knowledge of Firewall would be an added advantage.
