Overview
As a Rider for Delivery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers. Your responsibilities will directly impact our customers' satisfaction and the overall success of our delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities - Deliver orders to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy in order delivery
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Handle cash and card payments for COD orders
- Communicate with the dispatch team to ensure efficient delivery routes
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle
- Report any delays or variances in delivery times
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Previous experience in delivery or courier services
- Good knowledge of local area and routes
- Ability to lift heavy packages and goods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and money-handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical fitness and stamina for long hours of driving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays
- Good driving record and criminal background check
- Knowledge of safety protocols and defensive driving techniques
