L3 DBA Responsibilities
Exadata Managing ExaCC/ ExaData Core components HCC Implementation
Database Security Implementation and managing TDE Wallet Managing Data redaction Database Hardening
High Availbilty RAC Hands on Experience with Oracle RAC configuration. Trobleshooting RAC issue RMAN Rman backup restoration Rman Backup recovery Resolving block Corruption issues. RMAN configuration and Trobleshooting RMAN Backup issues. Datagaurd Datagaurd Configuration and management. Database Switchover/Switch back Zero Data loss management using datagaurd protection modes
Performance Tunning Performance tunning slow queries , SQL Tracing , Analysing Trace files , SQL T Execution and analysis Troubleshooting Database/Instance hung issues. Database Level tunning - SGA/PGA/Optimizer Parameters etc. Analysis of AWR and recommendations for performance improvement Analysis of ASH and recommendations for performance improvement Analysis of ADDM and recommendations for performance improvement
Compliance Implement Security policies as per CSI benchmark and DBSAT Patching database to latest patch set Analysis of Exacheck and recommendations.
OEM OEM Set up and Configuration OEM Alert Configuration OEM Issues troubleshooting.
L3 as a Lead DBA Capacity Planning - database server Implementation of DB Governance plan and sharing perodic reports Validate and Signoff Change Management Plan shared by L2 DBA Planning , Discussion on Ongoing and future projects Sharing RCA for Incidents.
L2 DBA Responsibilities

3 Storage Management Understanding and managing Controlfile , P File , Sp File
4 ASM Configuration for RAC and Non RAC DB

8 Rman Backup recovery
9 RMAN configuration and Trobleshooting RMAN Backup issues.
10 Datagaurd Datagaurd Configuration and management.
