Job description
Overview:
The SAP SD Consultant plays a critical role in our organization by implementing and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions. They are responsible for understanding and translating business requirements into functional SAP SD configurations ensuring smooth integration with other modules and providing ongoing support and maintenance. The role requires strong analytical and problemsolving skills as well as a deep understanding of business processes and best practices within the SD domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for SAP SD solutions
- Configure and customize SAP SD modules to meet business needs
- Lead and participate in SAP SD implementation and support projects
- Provide guidance on best practices and optimal use of SAP SD functionalities
- Conduct testing troubleshooting and user training for SAP SD solutions
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules
- Assist in the development of business process documentation and training materials
- Support end users by addressing and resolving SAP SDrelated issues and inquiries
- Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of SAP SD processes and systems
- Participate in SAP SD module upgrades and enhancements
Required Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of SAP SD configuration pricing and order management
- Experience in SAP SD integration with other modules such as MM FI and CO
- Strong knowledge of sales and distribution processes and best practices
- Proficiency in SAP SD reporting and analytics tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD issues effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Certification in SAP SD is a plus
