For more information, contact Merkle at 1-877-9-Merkle or visit Learn more at: Role Summary & Purpose: Designation: AEM SPA Developer Years of experience: 3-5 years Location: Pune/Mumbai Job Description Role Description: As an AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) SPA developer, you will provide high quality code solutions to meet digital commerce and marketing needs in the implementation, enhancement, and support of features. Translate website and marketing needs into AEM specific recommendations and solutions. Develop features in AEM SPA applications based on user stories and technical designs. Design content fragment models, create GraphQL queries, AEM REST APIs, React/Nextjs components. Embrace approach to software quality, leveraging unit, integration, and end to end test automation to make sure quality objectives are fulfilled. Participate in supporting other team members and projects the team owns via code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions using Agile methodologies. Analyse applications and make necessary changes to optimize performance. Key Responsibilities: AEM SPA Developer: Experience implementing Adobe AEM (AEM 6.4 or higher or AEM as a Cloud Service) 3-5 Years of Back-End Development Experience in AEM Sites/Assets, Components, Templates, OSGI, CRX, OSGI Configuration, and Workflows 3 Years of Front-End Experience in Front-End Development including React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience in creating Content/Experience Fragments, Responsive, SPA and Headless architectures. SPA development with AEM's SPA Editor JS SDK. AEM React SDK, AEM Client libraries. Experience in Content ecosystem components like AEM Assets/DAM, CMS, Workflow, etc. Adobe Experience Manager, and overall Adobe ecosystem (specifically Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics) Understanding of AEM Multi-site Management, translations and other localization, custom metadata management, Asset Renditions, AEM Dispatcher, SEO support, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target integration, Experience with dispatcher, caching, CDN integration and publishing/deployment AEM Sites/Assets infrastructure, architecture, and configuration/administration Familiarity with campaign management platforms (Adobe Campaign or Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and Adobe Audience Manager/DMP would be a plus Identifying components and Templates required and designing Solution architecture Experience of creating OSGI bundle, OSGI Components, OSGI Services, and OSGI Configurations. AEM Workflows, AEM Jobs, AEM Schedulers. Java/J2EE skills and OOPS with proficiency design patterns Exposure to one or more end to end implementations Knowledge of various adobe experience manager components like MSM, Mobile, I18N, Tagging, Translation, Search etc. Design, develop and support AEM content fragments, integrations, and applications Experience with GraphQL queries. Experience in integrating RESTful and SOAP-based web services Experience with secure coding practices OSGI Architecture, Sling Servlets, Sling Models, Sling Model Exporters, and Sling Framework Identifying and documenting functional and technical requirements. Good in Java/J2EE skills and OOPS with proficiency design patterns Exposure to more than one end to end AEM implementation Qualifications Candidates with AEM Certification are preferred.
