Founding Full-stack Engineer, AI + data Location: Remote

You’ll be at the heart of what Waii does: It’s about the designing and implementing the interface between human and state-of-the-art AI & data technologies. This opportunity is bringing together innovation and delivery - you will be building real products and services solving real world issues, based on technologies that have never been combined this way before. As a founding engineer you will be in the front-row contributing to all aspects of growing a business and scale with the organization. Responsibilities: Work directly with world-class customers to create the best-of-breed experience in using LLMs & generative AI for data engineering and analytics tasks. Work across the industry through open-source, partnerships, talks, and publications to demonstrate and maintain thought leadership in the field of user experience for AI-based products. Design and implement the experience for Waii’s SaaS offering: Including zero friction onboarding, SQL generation, automatic workload management, generative visualizations, and more. Participate in defining the product strategy of a seed-stage startup. This role is part of shaping everything that will come. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field. Solid grasp of the fundamentals. 4-10 years of experience in designing and implementing user experiences, preferably in the enterprise data and/or AI space. Familiar with JS/TS/CSS as well as Python (or equivalent). Track record of innovation and early-stage development. Ability to build, fail, and iterate. Desire to operate from first principles. Ability to solve the right problems: Focus on customers and opportunities worth pursuing. Ruthless in triaging and prioritizing. Desire to grow and scale.
