Job description
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Bedroom Setup:
- Prepare guest rooms by making beds, replenishing linens, and arranging amenities.
- Regularly inspect rooms for any maintenance or repair needs and report issues to the appropriate department.
Laundry Management:
- Collect, wash, and fold linens and towels according to established standards.
- Maintain an organized and efficient laundry area.
Inventory Control:
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens as needed.
- Report any inventory shortages or damaged items promptly.
Guest Interaction:
- Provide a friendly and helpful demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with the front desk and maintenance staff to address guest needs.
Adherence to Standards:
- Adhere to established housekeeping and safety procedures.
- Follow industry best practices for cleanliness and hygiene.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high cleanliness and quality standards.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Use personal protective equipment as required.
Flexibility:
- Adapt to changing priorities and work schedules based on hotel occupancy and events.
