Position: HR Generalist

About The Role

Join our dynamic team as an HR Generalist, where you will be instrumental in managing various facets of human resources. This role is designed for a versatile professional who can handle HR generalist functions, employee relations, compliance, and more, contributing to the overall success of our startup.

Responsibilities

  • HR Generalist Functions:
  • Administer employee benefits and ensure policy compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including record keeping and documentation.
  • Oversee employee performance management processes.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct investigations into employee-related issues and provide resolutions.
  • Mediate conflicts and foster positive communication within the team.
  • Advise and counsel employees on workplace matters and policies.
  • Compliance and Legal:
  • Stay updated on employment laws and ensure company compliance.
  • Implement policies and practices aligned with legal requirements.
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Develop and execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Organize team-building activities and events to promote a positive work culture.
  • Communication:
  • Facilitate clear and open communication channels between management and employees.
  • Regularly communicate HR policies, updates, and relevant information.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment processes, collaborating with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Handle employee termination procedures with sensitivity and adherence to company policies.
  • Ensure company policy and procedure adherence across all departments.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a startup or dynamic work environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools and Microsoft Office.
