Scope and general purpose of job:-

 The Sales Manager (MICE must be a visionary, leader, motivator,aggressive sales person, compiler of data and resources, planner and executor.
 Represent the Golf Club in its relationships with numerous external constituencies.
 Develop the Golf Club's membership roster, ensure that all sales targets are met, both individually and as a team, assure that prospect bank, closing ratios and sales and marketing plans are sufficient to ensure that membership sales
continually exceed plan and capital costs relating to the project are recovered.
 Mange the Sales & Marketing department, ensure that administration systems are followed and work as a team member to promote ancillary club revenues and ensure product remains attractive to prospects and members.

Responsible for: Senior Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Sales coordinator &Sales Associates.

Job Tasks (Duties)

 Prospects and develops new business continuously through phone solicitation, outside sales calls, customer visits to the hotel, trade shows, sales blitzes, direct mail, newspaper/journal research and other customer interaction or research.
 Drives and manages group production through improved customer loyalty byexcellent account management. Determines the accounts' needs, Hotel's objectives, and marketing activities of each assigned market/account.
 Negotiates transient and group rates for assigned accounts.

Standard Operating Procedures

 Continuously communicates the benefits of the Hotel to clients and have excellent product knowledge.
 Understands and is familiar with the fundamentals of assigned accounts.
 Identifies new or existing markets/accounts that meet property sales strategy.
 Be accountable for all targets and goals set for area of responsibilities.
 Develops marketing intelligence, new products ideas, competition activities,
new customer trends and performance.
 Work with the property General Managers to create and implement a sales
plan with strategies to achieve budgets and sales targets
 Actively source new business via strategic sales calls
 Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients
 Create marketing collateral and campaigns to promote our venues, packages
and specials
 Research and reporting on competitor analysis and market trends
 Administrative duties including but not limited to compiling proposals and contracts, maintaining a database, regular sales reports and end of month reporting
 All aspects of event coordination including but not limited to being the point of liaison for the client for all their event needs, creating event orders, invoicing, and to ensure the event details are effectively communicated to the client and
