We inspire change by advocating for child-centric planning and development processes.
Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager Intern to join our team and elevate our digital presence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement within a non-profit environment focused on child development.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns across platforms, with a primary focus on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Schedule posts, monitor interactions, and respond to comments/messages promptly.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to inform strategy and measure success.
Content Creation:
- Craft compelling captions and design visually appealing graphics.
- Capture, edit, and format photos and videos to amplify our message.
- Stay updated on social media trends and incorporate them into our content strategy.
Community Engagement:
- Proactively engage with followers, partners, and potential supporters.
- Collaborate with team members to highlight our events, initiatives, and impact stories.
Other Duties:
- Occasionally participate in on-ground events for content gathering and promotion.
- Support with additional marketing and communications tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a college degree in marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe suite)
- Understanding of social media best practices and familiarity with social platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and a strong team player.
- Passion for aProCh's mission and dedication to children's wellbeing.
