Job description

• This role requires an ability to write and edit copy for a range of clients, as well carrying out content audits and producing insights to understand a brand s audience and cultural landscape
• Your day-to-day tasks will be varied, but will include strategizing and writing Social Media Posts, articles, reviews, blogs and other forms of online content, as well as undertaking detailed data-led content audits to obtain audience insights in support of content strategy development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan and execute the content for social media based on the digital strategy

- Identify key opportunities for reactive content based on news, events, and trending topics

- Creative input on content, ideas on social media viral marketing

- Write topical, product centric and educational content pieces

- Ability to write crisp posts for various social platforms

- Respond and react to changes within social networks - changes in functionality, methods of engagement etc.

- Work closely with the offline marketing and online marketing team as well as the IT/web team to ensure coherent delivery of activities aligned to strategic objectives

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

- 4-6 years of experience in writing copy

- Agency or Publisher work experience will be highly preferred

- Presentation skills (written and verbal)

- Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Advertising / Marketing / Communication

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- An excellent storyteller who can create interesting and engaging content for digital

- Must have handled social pages (Fb/Twitter etc.) personally for multiple brands

- Ability to write great engaging web copy in a real time environment that can stimulate user interaction, discussion and engagement
