Job description
Job Title- Lead Engineering & Technology - Vadodara
Location- 244-6/7, GIDC Industrial Estate, Waghodia, Vadodara – 391760, Gujrat Purpose: Understand Customer requirements and responding with proper estimation and scope Lead New Product Development and customer engagements. Preparation of optimized cost estimations & Forging process design Responsibilities: Order analysis and preparation of Manufacturing Drawings & MQPs Prepare Forging batch plan, weight estimation, ingot selection, forging sequence, based on shape and size (Job Technology Card) Design and planning of Tool and dies for near net shaped forgings. Ensure proper utilization of Ingots, input of raw material and monitor yields. New Product development taking full responsibility with due customer interactions for technical feasibility, FMEA analysis. Monitor monthly report on raw material price & usage variance. Ensure rejection/re work within controlled limit Initiate RCA & CAPA for any deviation/rejection and maintain records. Ensure optimum cost of energy and sub-contracting. Qualification & Experience: B.E / Diploma (Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy/NIFT) + with 10-15 years of Experience. Should have good knowledge of Forging Equipment, Processes and Metal Flow Simulations Should have exposure of handling various kinds of Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Alloy Forgings Person having knowledge of Open Die hydraulic presses is preferred. Should have knowledge of product cost involving estimation and costing Person should be familiar with Engineering CAD Software like SOLIDEDGE, AUTOCAD, CATIA, UNIGRAPHICS (NX), AUTODESK INVENTOR and ERP systems like SAP Should have knowledge of CAE software like FORGE, ANSYS. Person should be capable of leading team comprising 3 to 4 EngineersJob tags
