We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Data & Lead DevOps Engineer to join our talented team in Mumbai! With 7-12 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies while leading our DevOps initiatives using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technology.
As a Lead Data & Lead DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data needs, and develop scalable solutions to meet business objectives.
* Architect and maintain GCP-based infrastructure to support our applications and services.
* Implement automation and orchestration using tools such as Terraform, Packer, Ansible, and Docker to streamline deployment processes.
* Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our cloud environment through best practices and proactive monitoring.
* Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for efficient and consistent software delivery.
Must-have qualifications:
* Extensive experience in data engineering, including proficiency with SQL, NoSQL databases, and big data technologies.
* Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and experience with GCP services and products.
* Demonstrated expertise in automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Packer, Ansible, and Docker.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
* Solid understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure setup in a cloud environment.
* Experience with information security practices and implementing cloud security best practices.
