GradRight’s team has extensive domestic and international experience launching and scaling premier higher education institutions. Alumni of IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, IIT Roorkee, ISB Hyderabad, and the University of Pennsylvania form the founding team at GradRight. GradRight is a Delaware, USA-registered company with a wholly-owned subsidiary in India. It has raised Series A investments from IvyCap Ventures Core Responsibilities: Strategic Communication: Conceptualize, plan, and execute the comms strategy for GR to drive its positioning in the domestic and international markets Increase institutional credibility for GradRight through associations, events and publications with industry bodies in India, US and Europe Collaborate with the international business development team to identify and execute opportunities for building the GR brand outside India Build an editorial content strategy and ensure its production and execution from in-house and outsourced teams in India and the US to drive the communication goals for GR Special projects: Launch new initiatives in collaboration with GR’s institutional partners in India and the US Represent GR in all such initiatives, events and engagements Launch new programming IPs that establishes GR’s thought leadership to meet GR’s strategic plans for positioning PR Drive the onboard PR agency, shape their strategies and execution plans to meet GradRight’s brand awareness goals Ensure that the PR plan is executed successfully Team Development: Help recruit, train and lead a high-performing team of communication and/or PR managers Nurture a creative and collaborative culture Qualifications: Bach./Master’s in Mass Communication/PR/Journalism/Media from a Tier 1 program in India or abroad will be preferred but it is NOT MANDATORY, if you are self-taught and if your experience demonstrates your proficiency and skills required for this role. Skills and Experience: 12-15 yrs of experience in PR, Comms, Marketing in media/higher-ed/tech sectors Experience in early-stage/growth-stage start-ups in the education sector will be preferred Location : GurugramJob tags
