Job description
Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. We develop products and services for use throughout the lifecycle of an offshore oilfield, from drilling to decommissioning. We operate the world's premier fleet of work class ROVs. Additionally, we are a leader in offshore oilfield maintenance services, umbilicals, subsea hardware, and tooling. Purpose
Primarily responsible to track, monitor, and assess the performance of assets throughout their lifecycle. The job will maximize the value of IT assets, minimizing risks, and providing accurate asset-related information to support decision-making across various departments.
Functions
ESSENTIAL
¿ Asset Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all assets owned or utilized by the organization, including physical assets (Laptop, Desktop and peripheral etc).
¿ Asset Tracking and Documentation: Develop and implement systems for tracking assets, recording changes, and updating asset information regularly.
¿ Asset Lifecycle Management: Develop strategies to optimize asset lifecycles, including planning for replacements, upgrades, and disposals. Ensure assets are utilized efficiently to maximize their useful life.
¿ Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for asset optimization. Prepare reports and recommendations based on data-driven insights.
¿ Asset Audits: Plan and execute regular asset audits to verify physical existence, condition, and alignment with recorded information. Address discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
¿ Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand asset needs and provide guidance on asset management best practices. Conduct training sessions for employees involved in asset-related processes.
NON-ESSENTIAL
¿ Supports new projects for upgrading IT systems & to improve user experience
¿ Should be open to travel as per business needs
¿ Participates in meetings during absence of Lead or Supervisor

¿ Reports to Manager I Global Service Center
¿ Works closely with Lead & Supervisor
Qualifications
REQUIRED
¿ Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, or equivalent education and experience.
¿1-3 years of IT support experience and/or Asset management).
¿ Excellent communication skills in English language.
DESIRED
¿ ITIL certification.

Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
¿ Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
¿ Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace
¿ Work surface is stable (flat)
