URGENTLY OPTHAMOLOGIST (VITREO RENTINAL SPECIALIST) REQUIRED FOR A REPUTED INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Ophthalmologist ( Vitreo Retinal Specialist ) Location: Papua New Guinea Salary: Negotiable Overview: We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist with a specialization in Vitreo Retinal care to join our esteemed international hospital located in Papua New Guinea. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating retinal and vitreous disorders, along with significant surgical expertise in related procedures. Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat a range of retinal and vitreous disorders, including but not limited to retinal detachments, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. - Perform surgical procedures such as vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, epiretinal membrane peeling, and intravitreal injections. - Demonstrate proficiency and excellence in retinal surgical techniques. - Collaborate effectively with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Stay abreast of advancements and best practices in the field of Ophthalmology, particularly in retinal care and surgery. Requirements: - Medical degree (MS) in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnosing and treating retinal and vitreous disorders. - Registration with the Indian Medical Board is mandatory. - Strong surgical skills and proven expertise in retinal surgical procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. - Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining ethical standards. - Flexibility to adapt to the demands of a dynamic healthcare setting.
