Job Overview
We are hiring a Captain for Rural Blues The Restobar, a unique and contemporary restaurant in Bangalore. As a Captain, you will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Captain or in a similar role
- Excellent leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication skills to interact with customers and staff
- Proven track record in team management and coordination
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Critical thinking skills to handle unexpected situations
- Emergency response skills to handle any customer emergencies
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of waitstaff and ensure smooth operations in the restaurant
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or requests
- Take orders from customers and ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of orders
- Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- Monitor inventory levels and submit orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining experience
