Job description

We are hiring for one of the Leading bank for Hyderabad - Credit Manager (Corporate banking experience needed)

Proficient in Credit domain, with expertise in working capital assessment and term loans.
Manage various types of financing including working capital, construction finance, and project/term loans.
Conduct credit appraisal and underwriting, performing financial analysis to evaluate solvency, liquidity, and repayment capacity of entities, as well as credit checks.
Assess credit risk based on geography, commodity, and security offered, considering references, financials, and facility structure.
Develop proactive enterprise-wide risk management strategies for commercial loan products.
Knowledgeable about operational, legal, market, and segmental risks related to agribusiness.
Manage delinquency along with business operations.
Work in a dynamic office environment and be prepared to travel to customer locations for meetings at short notice.

Additional Corporate Credit Manager Role Responsibilities:

Implement credit policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with sales and business development teams to assess creditworthiness of prospective clients and tailor financing solutions.
Monitor industry trends and economic indicators to anticipate potential credit risks and adjust lending strategies accordingly.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients, regulators, auditors, and internal teams.
Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to Credit Managers on credit analysis techniques, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance requirements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to credit risk management.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on portfolio performance, credit quality, and risk exposure.
