Work form Office- This role involved travelling PAN India to Kitchens

About the Role

Head of maintenance will be responsible for maintaining all kitchen facilities with minimal downtime and lower repair and maintenance costs. This will be a fast paced role and will require the flexibility to meet aggressive deadlines with strong focus on getting the job done on priority and building a strong foundation for kitchens for the future. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, technical knowledge, good communication skills, agility, eye for detail and the ability to influence.

Responsibilities ● Scheduling and overseeing all maintenance-related work by managing a large team of maintenance technicians and supervisors who will handle a spread out network of cloud kitchens. ● Timely Periodic Maintenance of all equipment inside kitchens taking equipment health to 100% ● Leading utility costs reduction for all kitchens by innovation. ● Working with the procurement team in developing new vendors for Civil, electrical, electronics, Plumbing work to be done at kitchens. Work on creating a new vendor base and sign rate contracts for utilities like DG, RO, Exhaust clean ups etc. ● Working cohesively with Projects and Smart Equipment development teams to bring in new technologies in terms of improving kitchen efficiency and productivity. ● Create Quarterly budgets and work on reduction of Repair and Maintenance costs. ● Sign up AMC contracts for cold rooms, freezers, equipment and maintain relations with all equipment suppliers. ● Responsible for efficient operations of HVAC to ensure right ambient conditions within kitchens. ● Develop systems and procedures to ensure equipment health is upto mark and create safety standards for kitchens. ● Manage all team member related activities including recruitment, performance management, training, career planning, and team motivation.

What are we looking for 10+ years of experience of leading engineering or maintenance functions for manufacturing units/ warehouses/ retail chains/ Hospitality with a spread out network.

Strong business acumen with solid understanding of the business environment. ● Ability to clearly understand the business objectives and Good communication skills, must be comfortable communicating with senior level management. ● Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. ● Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, multi-task and prioritize various deliverables. ● Excellent interpersonal skills: credible, consistent and active listening, confident and fully cognizant of one’s strengths.
