About Udhyam:

Udhyam Learning Foundation (Udhyam) is on a mission towards Making Bharat Entrepreneurial. We believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful way to channelize an individual's potential. Our programs:

• Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted :24,00,000 learners across 12 Indian states.
• Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled up to a 27% income uplift for 5000+ entrepreneurs.

The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path.

About the Program:

Saamuhika Shakti, a 4year urban Bengaluru project, uplifts wastepickers' lives by offering training and organizing over 200 wastepickers. To ensure sustained growth, the program aims to mentor entrepreneurs, focusing on key business skills. This initiative aligns with the common agenda's outcome of enabling wastepickers, especially women and youth, to shift to alternative professions, promoting economic stability for their families. The project aims to enhance livelihoods and reduce financial vulnerabilities for wastepicker families.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Operations: Manage the project and oversee the big picture pertaining to the objective of the project. Responsible for end to end operations, delivery and quality. Responsible for program monitoring and reporting.
• Stakeholder Management: Work with multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationships with partner organizations, resource persons, internal teams and leads. Serve as lead site coordinator.
• Team Management Lead, Mentor and coach a team of professionals, providing guidance, feedback and support to foster their growth and development.
• Program Strategy and Management: Define program goals and implementation strategy, prepare and execute project plan, define and evolve ownership areas of team members and stakeholders, regularly review progress and strategy
• Coordinate with the solutioning team to build and understand solutions and lead the implementation on the ground
• Data Management: Create structures and build capacity within the team to collect and analyze implementation data and take data based decisions
• Should be willing to spend 50% of time on the field

Skills, Experience :

• Must be willing to be based in Bangalore throughout the duration of the project.
• 6 to 8+ years of experience working on mediumscale programs.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada; Other South Indian languages will be a bonus.
• Planning and Execution Comfortable working with a diverse group of individuals to meet project objectives within established timelines; can effectively move from strategy to details in a seamless way.
• Bias for action Handson with operations, willing to pilot and experiment with different strategies, interact regularly with beneficiaries and various stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fastpaced and ambiguous environment
• Experience in the social development sector or Program Management Unit
• Comfortable with MS Office
