Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior WordPress Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience and a portfolio that showcases a blend of creativity and functionality. The ideal candidate will not only be proficient in using WordPress page builders but will also possess the expertise to craft custom plugins tailored to specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and optimize WordPress websites ensuring both responsiveness and scalability.
- Lead the WordPress team providing guidance and ensuring best practices are adhered to.
- Engage directly with clients understanding their requirements and proposing strategic WordPress solutions tailored to their business needs.
- Design and develop custom WordPress plugins ensuring they adhere to WordPress coding standards.
- Train interns and junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and security updates.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure the visual development is in line with the UI/UX designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues ensuring high performance and availability of websites.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proven track record with a solid WordPress portfolio.
- Expertise in PHP HTML CSS JavaScript and MySQL.
- Experience in developing custom WordPress plugins.
- Familiarity with WordPress standards and best practices.
- Previous contributions to the WordPress community (e.g. plugins on WordPress.org codecanyon etc.) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a logical approach to challenges
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior team members.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships.
