Job description

Job Purpose The Enterprise Technology Architect will play a crucial role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization. This position involves developing and maintaining an Enterprise Technology Principles playbook, ensuring compliance with these principles across various business units, and providing expert advice on technological integrations and advancements.

Key Responsibilities Development and Maintenance of Technology Principles:

Formulate and regularly update the Enterprise Technology Principles playbook, ensuring alignment with state-of-the-art SOA and cloud-based systems. Inter-Departmental Collaboration:

Collaborate with diverse business units to ensure adherence to established technology principles, offering guidance and expertise to align their operations with the organization's strategic technological vision. Enhancement of Business Processes:

Champion the integration of automated services into existing business processes, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce manual dependencies. Information Security Management:

Vigilantly oversee the incorporation of new systems into the organization's IT estate, ensuring stringent adherence to information security standards. Compliance and Evaluation:

Assiduously evaluate and endorse new technologies and systems, ensuring congruence with the organization's architectural principles. Stakeholder Engagement:

Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating technological strategies and fostering a culture of technological innovation. Continuous Technological Refinement:

Routinely assess and refine the technology architecture to incorporate emerging technologies and address evolving industry trends and business requirements. Be an evangelist and a coach for SOA-based enterprise architecture principles: Advocate and encourage the understanding of Acuity’s Enterprise architecture principles and cross-systems/departments/platforms communication; Coach technology and business teams as required. Third-Party Vendor Selection : Play a pivotal role in the selection of third-party vendors. This involves: Supporting business partners to identify potential vendors that align with the company's technological and security standards. Leading the evaluation process, which includes assessing vendors' capabilities, compliance with our technology principles, and their ability to integrate seamlessly with our existing systems. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with selected vendors, ensuring ongoing support and alignment with our technological roadmap.

Key Competencies 12 to 15 years of work experience Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Extensive experience in an Enterprise Technology Architect role, preferably within a process outsourcing or comparable industry. Deep expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), cloud-based systems, and information security protocols. Experience with Agile delivery methodologies including SCRUM and KANBAN Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-native web-based service orientated digital solutions on AWS (or Azure) Comprehensive knowledge of business process management and the integration of automated services. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proven capability to thrive in a dynamic, multinational corporate environment.
