Role Description

We are looking for a creative and talented content writer to be part of our communications team at Shankara Cancer Hospitals. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about transforming lives through their communication skills. Our communication team manages the print, video, audio and digital platforms to connect with various stakeholders from India and various other countries. The Content Writer will be responsible for creating and editing web content, developing content strategies, conducting research, writing, and proofreading.

This is an opportunity to build a comprehensive 360-degree portfolio.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors in any field.Â
2. Bachelors in Life Sciences / Medicine / Health are desirable.
3. Communication & Journalism graduates may also apply.
4. Proficiency in English (UK) language.
5. Proficient in content writing with an expansive vocabulary.
6. 0-1 Years Experience Mandatory.
7. 1-2 years of experience in content writing for healthcare is desired.

Skills

1. Good grasp of creative and technical content writing in English
2. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) of content
3. AI for Content writing
4. Understanding of different styles of writing and choosing the appropriate writing style
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Proofreading skills
7. Understanding of medical language and terminology
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Job Description

1. Define the content roadmap for the institutions across social media, website, print collaterals and other modes of communication.
2. Pen content about activities in the hospital for various online platforms as well as for print collaterals.
3. Pen attractive and engaging post content for our social media
4. Working with the Digital team to produce exceptional online content
5. Delivering content for newsletters, conferences and workshops
6. Survey and research content to deliver quality outputs.
7. Implement SEO best practices and trends in creative as well as technical writing.
8. Script content for audio and video recordings.
9. Strong sense of ownership of content generated.
10. Collaborating with team members like designers to align content with brand identity and message.
11. Proofread & edit long-form and short-form text content.
