Responsibilities

• :OPD Billing:Patient Registration:Greet and assist patients during the registration process
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and other necessary documentation
• Billing and Invoicing:Generate accurate and timely invoices for outpatient services
• Verify insurance coverage and coordinate with insurance providers for claims processing
• Payment Processing:Collect co-payments, deductibles, and other patient payments
• Provide clear and accurate information on billing inquiries and payment options
• Documentation:Maintain organized and up-to-date records of outpatient billing activities
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards and privacy regulations
• Front Office:Appointment Scheduling:Manage appointment schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing patient wait times
• Coordinate with medical staff to accommodate urgent appointments
• Patient Check-In/Check-Out:Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for patients
• Provide necessary information and instructions to patients regarding their visit
• Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues
• Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients at the front desk
• Phone Management:Answer incoming calls, route calls to the appropriate departments, and take messages as needed
• Provide information and assistance to callers regarding appointments and general inquiries
• Appointment Reminders:Contact patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary pre-visit instructions
• Assist in rescheduling appointments when necessary
