Reporting to the Senior Operations Reporting Analyst, the purpose of this position is to design, maintain and produce reporting / dashboards across all divisions of Appen, including monthly management reporting for board reports and reporting / dashboards to enable managers and division heads to manage their goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with Snr Operations Reporting Analyst on the preparation and analysis of management reporting for the monthly board package, including ensuring it is accurate, timely, and commentary provided at the appropriate levels.
- Design and provide reporting / dashboards from the global ERP to divisional managers and heads to enable them to effectively manage their functions. Current examples include P&L actual vs. budget, margin reporting, sales reporting, and other ad hoc requests.
- Work closely with CFO and Snr Operations Reporting Analyst to drive the annual budgeting and planning process, including providing support to divisional managers and heads and ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
- Work closely with the ERP Administrator to ensure data available in reporting is secure and only provided at the correct levels.
- Work closely with the Finance team to design and implement reporting that allows the function to deliver accurate and timely financial information as and when needed.
- Cultivate superior working relationships with divisional managers and heads to gather requirements and specifications to understand current shortcomings in reporting / dashboards and devise solutions to enhance reporting.
- Provide superior customer service in relation to the reporting function, including clear and frequent communication, setting, and then exceeding expectations, and providing an all-round fantastic value-add experience.
- Identify and drive key reporting related projects / process improvements. Regular reviews of current reporting ensure it evolves as needed.
- Work closely with ERP Administrator to manage ERP support vendors.
- Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Snr Operations Reporting Analyst or CFO.

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accountancy, Business, Commerce or related field.
- 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record successfully working within a global organization (ASX listed advantageous)
- Experience using large ERP Systems (Workday advantageous).
- Experience using Planning systems (Adaptive Planning advantageous).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL, including ability to design and run queries/reports.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
