Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - PowerShell, lean FT, desktop testing
The ideal candidate will be passionate about software quality assurance and possess strong technical skills to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with clients to understand their software testing requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using PowerShell and LeanFT to validate desktop applications' functionality and performance.
• Conduct manual testing activities, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and libraries to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including mentoring junior testers and sharing best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing methodologies to enhance testing processes and practices.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications we seek in you!
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on desktop applications.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for test automation and system administration tasks.
• Hands-on experience with LeanFT (Lean Functional Testing) or similar functional testing tools for desktop applications.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Preferred qualifications
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and relevant technologies are a plus.
