- Motivating and encouraging internal and external design teams
- Ensuring structural, MEP Architectural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality, and are easy to decipher
- Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
- Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
- Avoiding errors and reducing financial risk during construction
- Ensuring designs are available to those who need them, at the appropriate time. Coordination with planning, procurement, factory site team.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process.
- Keeping up-to-date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design
- Working in an office, with occasional site visits.
- The employee is not limited to the above role and responsibilities, it might vary as per the business requirements arising from time to time.
- Prepare and maintain design deliverable tracker.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and foster teamwork between all project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications.
- Candidates from NICMAR will be preferred.
- Bachelor s degree in BE civil engineering.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in Structural Design in the construction Industry.
