Job description
As a Tax Specialist you will be part of finance & Accounting team based in Gurgaon, India. In this role you will be reporting to the India Accounting Manager and will be responsible to provide tax expertise in the matter listed below.
Roles & Responsibilities: Preparation and Filing of GST, TDS and Profession Tax Returns. Preparing GST Workings & Filing GST Returns & Also Scrutiny of purchase invoices. Filing any amendment under GST Portal & doing needful compliance. GST-Tax calculations & deposit & Return filling with Reconciliation of 2A, TDS, Income Tax, EPF, ESIC,LWF & PT. RCM Reconciliations / E-invoicing Reconciliation / E-way Bill RECO. Reconciliation between books & GSTR2B Accurate tax working on outward GST Audits Visit to GST department on need basis Replying to general inquiry letters issued by the department Undertaking various nature of reconciliations required under the GST law for the filing of Returns Other Ad-hoc responsibilities. Required Skills: Graduates or CA/ICWA dropouts with Direct & Indirect taxation experience. Working knowledge of SAP and data extraction/ reconciliation from SAP is added advantage Knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, Tax Provisions, GST, TDS, and Income Tax is a must for this role. Good interpersonal skills to maintain rapport with the statutory authorities Understanding of accounting concepts and Working knowledge of GST, TRACES, and other Tax Portals.
