Job Overview
We are seeking a Merchandiser to join our team at A L Paper House, the largest Handmade Paper & Paper Products Exporter in India. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for handling the business development and international business development activities for our company. You will be based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and work in a full-time capacity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven track record in business development and international sales
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong client handling and relationship management abilities
- Proficiency in email drafting and business communication
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, particularly in the paper industry
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing and nurturing new business opportunities in the international market
- Identifying potential clients and conducting market research to understand their needs and preferences
- Managing client relationships and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
- Negotiating and closing business deals with clients, including pricing and terms of contracts
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing, production, and timely delivery
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Preparing reports and presentations to share with the management team and other stakeholders
- Collaborating with the manufacturing team to develop new product designs and concepts
- Assisting in the development of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns
- Handling communication with clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings
