KPIs and Supporting Actions:
Strategic Planning & Budgeting - Will be working closely with top management in strategic planning and execution of the core business area with an understanding and analysis of business issues and their financial consequences by involving in key business decisions so as to protect commercial interest of business. Comprehensive management and accounting system - Responsible for creating a detailed and comprehensive management accounting and financial control system. Track the variances, recommend corrective actions and follow-up on remedial actions to ensure the adherence to the budget and to support the effective monitoring of performance within the budget. Will also be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with Indian/international Audit & Accounting requirements. Capital management - Should be able to analyse the different Options and finalize the best investment Opportunities for the funds and responsible for all the activities related to deployment of funds, working capital management, Foreign Exchange and insurance. Should be strong in Project planning and analysis and must be able to manage project cost accounting and leading indicators of Project Profitability forecasts. MIS, Statutory compliances - Computerized financial and accounting reporting systems, central and state financial regulations and exposed to establishing and monitoring financial control systems for CAPEX program, revenue & cash budget & MIS system including development of appropriate templates for monitoring the CAPEX and cash flows. Will be accountable to all legal & statutory compliance with direct / indirect tax requirements and its efficient implementation. Policies - Should also be responsible for assisting in implementation of financial and admin policies, systems, procedures and controls. Guide develop accurate and meaningful MIS reports for proper decision making and recommend suitable suggestions to improve effectiveness of accounting systems and financial control. Provide direction to business divisions with respect to financial goals and targets and assist business units in pricing decisions. Desig comprehensive budgeting formats and ensuring proper and timely dissemination of financial information and analysis for prompt decision making. Process improvement - Expected to exhibit leadership qualities like developing and training the finance team members – both in the central finance department as well as in different Business areas. Should ensure culture of cost consciousness and value addition across the organization. Should also ensure to develop IT systems for managing finance and accounting processes efficiently, integrate with other relevant systems within the organization to avoid duplication of effort. Provide overall leadership to all process areas within the finance and business units by establishing best-in-class processes and monitoring performance against objectives. Should; create a highly committed and motivated team environment. 5) Organizational Relationships
