This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Set and maintain quality standards for company products through the use of systematic processes. Develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. May develop tools and environments to automate test execution. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

What you Will do:

We are looking for a Senior Solution Developer to join us! In this role, you will be responsible for all stages complex product and Solution development, including Design, Development, Automation testing strategy, Analysis, Results evaluation and proposed corrective actions

In a typical day as a Senior Solution Developer, you would:

• Be part of a Scrum team working incrementally on delivering PI / incremental functionality
• Analyze the requirements and determine product configuration, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
• . Work on development of telecom domain solutions by integrating multiple products utilizing the capabilities of the products
• Work in telecom domain and protocols like Diameter, Radius, SOAP/ SMPP, Web Services, Rest architecture etc.
• Leverage knowledge of: XML, Databases (JDBC), JMS, and LDAP etc.
• Leverage knowledge of networking: Protocols, distributed systems, network security and high availability
• Work on scripting/programming using Linux/Unix shell, Python, TCL/TK, C++/Java
• Problem solving of Issues reported from Customers / Delivery teams / L2 support (Debugging, Quick Fix and Permanent Solution)
• Work on Technologies / standards like IMS, LTE based DIAMETER interface development/testing. E.g. DIAMTER interfaces like S6a, S6d, Gx, Sy, Gy, Rf, Rx, Ro etc.
• Work on Container deployment flavour of the product (Docker & Kubernetes) as well which is recently released
• Help peers in R&D function with your strong sense of commitment & ownership to drive things to closure, with decisive verbal & written communication skills and courtesy.

What you will Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Person with 6+ years of experience in software development or testing. A good mix of development and testing experience is more preferable.

If you are/have…

• Telecom Industry experience is mandatory.
• Ability to analyze the requirements and determines product configuration, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
• Overall knowledge of telecom domain and protocols like Diameter, Radius, SOAP/ SMPP , Web Services, Rest architecture etc.
• Good knowledge of: XML, Databases (JDBC, NoSQL, In-Memory, Grid), JMS, LDAP etc.
• Good knowledge of networking: Protocols, distributed systems, network security and high availability
• Proven track record of debugging, bug detection and problem solving skills.
• Good understanding of IMS, LTE based DIAMETER interface development/testing. Prior experience in DIAMTER interfaces like S6a, S6d, Gx, Sy, Gy, Rf, Rx,Ro etc. is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of 3GPP specification (Policy and Charging solution, CHF, PCF) and experience in building solutions in 4G/5G technologies
• Experience in Software Product/Solution testing (functional, system and performance)
• Experience in product testing with tools like Seagull, J-Meter, and SOAP UI etc.
• Hands-on experience in scripting/programming using Linux/Unix shell, Python, GO/Java
• Experience in in developing and deploying microservices in Virtualized/Cloud environment (Red Hat OCP, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of Software development Life cycle and Quality processes.

Desired Skills:

• Good knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/ XML, JMX, JDBC, JMS, LDAP, Java Security etc.
• Hands-on experience in development of telecom domain solutions by integrating multiple products utilizing the compatibles of the products (4G, 5G, 3GPP, IMS, Mediation, PCF, CHF)
• Hands-on experience in scripting/programming using Linux/Unix shell, Python, GO/Java
• Working knowledge of databases like Oracle, MySQL
• Knowledge of High Availability Systems (HA)
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying microservices in Virtualized/Cloud environment (Red Hat OCP, AWS, Azure, GCP)
