Job description
Scope Of Work.
PrimaryShared Across Functionally.Finalize requirements for HSE Studies such as FHA, QRA, Bow-tie, SIL, F&G Detectors Mapping, HFE, EIA, Noise Study, RAM, etc. and review and implement recommendations in detailed design.
.Ensure that all work performed complies fully with all applicable codes, regulations etc., as well as company design standards & client requirements or in other words, design control.
.Provide supervision and / or technical direction to engineers & designers assigned to area of work to ensure that the work is completed in the proper manner.
.Ensure that all the Health, Safety and Environment related requirements, as given in Project Contract documents, are fulfilled during the engineering..Coordinate with other functional departments within LTC for implementing HSE related requirements.
.Resolve all HSE related issues / queries raised during project execution.
.Report to the Management on overall performance of HSE in the projects
.Review Inquiry Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations and ensure procurement according to project specifications and within budgeted cost.
. Ability to work with Project, Customer and Vendor representatives to resolve technical issues.

Key Result Areas.
.Organize and participate in project safety reviews HAZID, HAZOP, BOWTIE, HFE, ALARP, SIL, etc.
.Perform Fire Protection System Design (including hydraulic calculations for fire water network, preparation of P&IDs, Datasheets of FW Tanks, Pumps, Fire suppression system, etc.)
.Supervise preparation of F&G system design, Passive Fire Proofing (PFP) and Hazardous Area Classification (HAC)
.Supervise and provide guidance in the preparation and evaluation of Plot Plans
.Review contract requirements for project execution, identify Scope of Work and develop Manpower Plan
.Assignment of Sr. Engineer/ Engineer/ Designer and preparation of organization for the project

Technical:
Nice to have understanding of HSE software tools like PHAST, PHAST Risk, PHA, Flare sim, Sound plan, Pipe net etc. and their applications.
. Knowledge of international standards, specifications and codes e.g. NFPA, API, IEC, IP, BSI and ISO procedures and standards.
. Ability to support and guide multiple Project groups relating to safety management issues.
. Ability to plan & control engineering activities and develop time schedules.
. Working experience in performing HAZID, HAZOP, BOWTIE, HFE, ALARP, SIL, etc. of similar nature
. Ability to lead a team of engineers to execute engineering work for FEED/EPC projects.
. Review and approval capability of deliverables, interfacing with FDs, IFIR, handling of site queries.
