The Apparel Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with trims, fitting, fashion design, textiles, and fashion.ResponsibilitiesDevelop brand aesthetic and oversee seasonal collectionsEnsure end-to-end product development, ensuring quality and material selection.Translate trends into actionable design concepts, staying ahead in innovation.Collaborate with teams for cohesive product offerings and bring visual concepts to life.Establish and maintain quality standards, troubleshoot issues with manufacturers.Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.QualificationsDegree in Fashion Design or related fieldProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and ProcreateExtensive knowledge of Textile, weaves, prints and its applicationsSound knowledge in surface development, fabric manipulation and good understanding of drapingSkilled in garment construction and pattern makingStrong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativityAbility to work well in a team and independentlyExcellent communication and organizational skillsExperience with sustainable and ethical fashion practices is a plus
