Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Travel Consultant to join our team at TRAVEL SAFARI. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including tour packages, flight tickets, hotel reservations, cruise bookings, rail bookings, and passport and visa assistance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in travel management, leisure travel, and travel planning. This is a full-time position with a junior level of experience required (1 to 3 years). The job location is Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of travel management, leisure travel, and travel planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in using online travel booking platforms and reservation systems
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle and resolve customer complaints
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, such as tour packages, flight tickets, hotel reservations, cruise bookings, rail bookings, and passport and visa assistance
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on travel destinations, attractions, and accommodations
- Handle all aspects of travel planning, including researching and organizing itineraries, transportation, and accommodations
- Ensure all bookings are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Resolve any issues or complaints raised by clients in a professional and timely manner
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in travel regulations and requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel partners, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and cruise lines
- Promote and sell travel products and services to generate revenue for the company
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the entire travel process
