Job description
Inviting applications for "Redevelopment of Ahmedabad Railway station" Project for Principal Design Coordinator position.
Responsibilities: The Principal Design Coordinator’s - Architectural, Civil, Structural, PHE and Landscape responsibilities include, not limited to: Review, Coordinating & expediting the design submissions, approvals and clearances for said disciplines and timely release of drawing. Ensure that there is no delay of work at site due to absence of drawings, details or any decisions. Track and maintain record of changes in design. Coordinate design approvals with Employer, EPC Contractor & Proof checking consultants. Highlight critical issues in design management and address them with quick decisions as per stipulated timeline and contract conditions. Ensure timely submissions from all parties involved in design approval process. Maintain DCI and updates. Ensure monitoring on Cloud based system and BIM MODELLING. Coordination with Top management of all stakeholders in case of any delays. Sole responsible for entire Design management of the project including Engineering designs and drawings. Review of specifications and construction methods. Minimum Qualification Essential: Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution Must Have: Post Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution Minimum 20 years of overall experience Minimum 10 years of experience in similar relevant projects (Railways, Metro,commercial Buildings, Institutional real estate projects, Bus/Airport terminals) 7 years’ experience into similar positions Key Qualities and soft skills Work experience in both an independent and team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential Strong team player and effective team leader Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through patience, analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to read communication styles of team members and clients who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Excellent leadership and managerial skills Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.Job tags
