Job description

• As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and efficient software delivery while adhering to best practices and industry standards

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Azure Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources, including virtual machines, virtual networks, and storage accounts.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or other relevant tools to automate software deployments.

3. Containerization: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage container orchestration.

4. Scripting and Automation: Write scripts and automation tools (eg, PowerShell, Python) to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.

5. Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of Azure resources and applications by implementing best practices and security controls.

6. Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions (eg, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) to proactively identify and address issues.

7. Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure resources and applications.

8. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.

9. Collaboration: Collaborate with development and operations teams to facilitate the continuous integration and continuous delivery of applications.

10. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

11. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize Azure resources for cost-efficiency.

12. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with Azure DevOps trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the adoption of the latest tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Azure services and infrastructure management.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).
• Understanding of security and compliance in Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
