About The Team

The Supply Chain IT team is responsible for critical systems that manage TI's manufacturing start plans, demand signals, and capacity planning systems for business operations. The team designs and develops solutions that directly impact TI's strategic initiatives and bottom line.

About The Role

You are responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that optimize the supply chain process. Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify requirements and develop software architecture designs that meet those requirements The role requires a deep understanding of supply chain management principles and practices, as well as experience with software development and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design and implement solutions to support TI's supply, demand, and capacity planning systems
  • Designing and developing software solutions that optimize the supply chain process
  • Collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify requirements and develop software architecture designs that meet those requirements
  • Ensuring that software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in supply chain management and software development
  • Ensure compliance with security and audit governance rules
  • Connect industry trends, the business need, and strategy to build and drive the roadmap for the appropriate technology landscape that is scalable for the next 10+ years
  • Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
  • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
  • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
  • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
  • Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
  • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
  • Works collaboratively and strategically with stakeholders to achieve TI's strategic goals
  • Mentors and develops others in the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Master/Bachelor degree in Information Systems, IT, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of software architecture and design of medium (100k+ LOC) and large-scale software applications (1M+ LOC)
  • 5+ years of experience with Big Data software stacks (data analytics, data modelling, data warehousing)
  • 5+ years of experience establishing and maintaining agile software development tools for planning, like JIRA, and complete automation across the Dev-Sec-Ops lifecycle
  • 3+ years of hands-on development and deployment of applications in full stack (React, Java, Python and related frameworks) and/or web development (Spring framework including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Stream, Spring MVC, Spring Data)

Additional Qualifications

  • Builds strong stakeholder relationships through execution, partnership and truly understanding the problem statement
  • Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communications skills in communicating at all levels
  • Strong business analysis skills and ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
  • Self-starter and sets a high bar for excellence and continuous improvement
  • Experience with large-scale data processing and data modeling
  • Values and leverages diverse thoughts and ideas and builds and maintains an organization with these principles in mind. Challenges existing solutions and drives for change with the right solutions
