Job description
To work in line with the organization s efforts to grow its income streams and ensure sustainable growth by identifying potential opportunities with the internal ideation process and through scouting and evaluation of external opportunities.
Roles Responsibilities:
- Assist the reporting manager in the strategic planning process across our group of companies which defines the short-term and long-term strategies.
- Work on strategy formulation both existing and new initiatives for the group of companies and formulate its growth and business development plans.
- Undertake market research and analysis for existing and new business ventures of the group.
- Present expansion options to the reporting manager by analyzing global trends, tracking competitors business models, short- and long-term focus areas, and potential geographies, and mapping the market s future against the company s business model.
- Support businesses in identifying opportunities for improvement, new initiatives, and investment.
- Closely monitor key performance metrics of the companies portfolio businesses including financials and cashflows and report to the management.
- Assist the reporting manager in formulating advice on the strategic matters of businesses and work alongside the Business Units for strategic business development activities.
- Evaluate external opportunities for product and service licensing.
- Prepare financial models and pitch presentations for strategic business development.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and business plans for reporting purposes.
- Identify, communicate, and execute new opportunities related to the firm s business functions.
- Provide cross-functional expertise to various company business units on initiation of new business ideas, multi-functional collaboration, etc
Skill Set Required:
- Direct experience in consulting, corporate strategy, and/or strategic business development.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills in English.
- Intellectually curious with strong creative and imaginative prowess to generate ideas to solve business problems.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with multi-functional teams.
- Ability to implement project management principles across companies of the group in a scientific and structured manner.
- Analytical and out-of-the-box thinking and proactive problem-solving.
- Strong relationship management skills with team and clients.
- Strong quantitative, financial modeling, and presentation skills.

Desired Qualification: MBA in Finance or Strategy
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or BD Roles
