Job Overview:
As a Business Analyst in our observability platform team you will play a key role in shaping the future of our product. You will be responsible for understanding and documenting the requirements for our observability platform ensuring they align with the product roadmap and overall business strategy. Your insights and analysis will be crucial in guiding the development of a platform that meets both current and future market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering and Documentation:
- Collaborate with the Senior Observability Platform Specialist to understand the product vision and roadmap.
- Conduct interviews workshops and surveys with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements.
- Translate these requirements into wellorganized and clear documentation including use cases user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Market and User Research:
- Perform market research to understand industry trends competitor offerings and customer needs related to observability platforms.
- Analyze user feedback and usage data to identify areas for product improvement and new feature development.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product management team to ensure requirements align with the overall product strategy.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure a mutual understanding of product requirements and priorities.
- Requirement Validation and Prioritization:
- Validate gathered requirements with stakeholders refining and adjusting as necessary.
- Assist in prioritizing requirements based on business value technical feasibility and alignment with the product roadmap.
- Supporting Product Development:
- Provide ongoing support to the development team by clarifying requirements and making informed decisions on requirement changes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning retrospectives and standups to provide input and feedback.
- Analysis and Reporting:
- Continuously analyze the performance of the platform against set goals and KPIs.
- Prepare and present reports on findings progress and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably in technology or software development.
- Strong understanding of observability platforms and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
