Reporting to the Senior Director, APAC Controller, this role is responsible for preparing, reviewing the Financials for Stat Audit, Annual Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, Income Tax Return filing. Ensure all statutory compliances not limited to TDS, PF, ESI, GST Shops and Establishment Act are compiled with. Communicating the progress to all key stakeholders on a regular basis.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure and own the Legal entity be it India or Other worldwide Subsidiaries, Statutory, tax and other Compliances
- Create Statutory Compliance Calendar (Monthly / Annual)
- Conduct regular review on processes and improve the processes with SOP's as needed in consultation with the reporting manager
- Accountable for month end close of India entity + ww entities
- Ensure all Reconciliations are provided on a scheduled timely basis
- Ensure timely Bank Payments
- Preparation of monthly Trial Balance, extract cost centres reporting, Financial statement for upload into Netsuites
- Extracting, reviewing the monthly Trial Balance, extract cost centres reporting, Financial statements and any other reports as needed
- Preparations of various schedules and financial disclosures for MIS, tax authorities
- Taking on additional responsibilities, projects when required.
Experience Required - Extensive relevant experience and exposure working in MNCs
- Hands on Experience in complete Accounting as per the Accounting standards followed which covers India + Other Countries including the parent companies
- Advanced Excel Abilities, word, power point working knowledge
- Prepare and record assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Have working knowledge in Netsuites desirable, should be able to handle multiple entities accounting at the month end
- Hands on Experience in GST, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, TP Audit, IT Filing.
- Other Statutory compliances working knowledge is essential which would include Tax Deduction at Source (TDS), Provident Fund (PF) & Employee State Insurance (ESI) (if applicable), Professional Tax (PF), Shops and Establishment Regulations

- Fixed Assets reconciliations, verification and control
