We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to lead our team and drive operational excellence.
Position Overview:
As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our Wedding & Convention Center and Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and leading high-performance teams, particularly within the Hotel and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Wedding & Convention Center and Hotel, ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
Team Management:
- Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Guest Experience:
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure a superior guest experience, from wedding celebrations to conventions and hotel stays.
- Implement and monitor guest satisfaction initiatives.
Financial Management:
- Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost-saving measures.
Event and Convention Coordination:
- Coordinate with the events and convention teams to ensure successful planning and execution of weddings, conferences, and other events.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in event operations.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior operations role within the Hotel/MICE industry.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performance teams.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Communication Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Ability:
- A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges effectively.
Organizational Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of operations simultaneously.
