Job description
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree candidate can apply.
2. 4-5 years of experience in stores handling
3. Hands on experience with MS Office, ERP/SAP & experienced in handling statutory compliances.
4. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Effective communication in English, Hindi and Kannada and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficient in Material Handling, inventory management, trace and track & segregation.
Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Regularly conduct stock audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
2. Receiving & inspecting materials for quality & quantity along with QC dept.
3. Coordinating with the procurement department to resolve any discrepancies or issues with the received material.
4. Allocate appropriate storage space for different types of materials with labelling and identification for easy retrieval when required.
5. Implement FIFO (First in, First Out) & LIFO (Last in First Out) inventory control materials as needed.
6. Process PO & fulfill internal material requests from different departments.
7. Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
8. Generate and maintain records of all transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
9. Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
10. Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that materials meet the required standards.
11. Flag and address any quality issues with incoming materials.
12. Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the storage and handling of material
13. Packing and dispatch of materials.
14. Maintain effective communication with various departments, such as procurement, production, and finance.
15. Keep the team informed about new procedures and policies
16. Capable to operate ERP/SAP & MS Office with computer savvy training for ERP will be provided by the YMC India
17. Able to lift up to 25kg to short distance to put goods into the store.
