Job description
Required Skills :Experience required : 6-7 yrs- Senior level experience in the fundamentals of technical project management in software delivery, infrastructure delivery and data delivery, with emphasis on software delivery.- Versed in modern agile delivery processes and methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or Scrumban; has used such processes to successfully deliver multiple projects.- Has used Atlassian Jira or a similar tool to manage Scum and Kanban process based delivery.- Has successfully delivered public internet accessible software products with browser and mobile clients.- Has worked with teams across global time zones.- Able to set milestones, allocate resources, and manage timelines.- Able to identify potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.- Able to manage to a budget, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing costs.- Came through IT delivery ranks prior to management; has prior experience as a software developer.Ideal Skills :- Managed delivery of applications in a major public cloud platform such as AWS.- Managed delivery of software intensive products with browser and mobile UIs using modern technologies such as React, Angular, PHP, Java, Python, MySQL.- Familiar with agile "servant-leader" mindset and can mix prescriptive guidance with removing obstacles faced by team members.- Experience with Atlassian JIRA a plus.Required Soft Skills :- Adaptable, able to work with change.- Problem solver, able to get the right resources together to address issues that arise during a project.- Attention to project details, ensuring nothing is overlooked.- Manage stakeholders; able to work with business leadership, business analysts, developers, data analysts and platform operations/develops skills.- Motivated and self-starting individual who can operate without micromanagement.Expected Roles and Responsibilities :- Manage three (3) to five (5) delivery projects in parallel.- Manage up to twenty (20) technical delivery resources across several teams.
