Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson's Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security. We are the #1 global market leader in Wireless-WAN based enterprise connectivity solutions and are growing fast in enterprise Private 5G networks and Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) solutions.
How Will You Contribute to the Company As we look towards scaling up this platform to support and grow our customer base around the
globe, we're looking for experienced Cloud Infrastructure Development Engineers. These engineers
will be working with an incredible group of experienced cloud software development engineers who
know how to build scalable, cloud-native software deployed using Kubernetes. You will be an
integral member of the team responsible for creating and managing highly scalable Public Cloud
Infrastructure using state-of-the-art Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD technologies.
This role may be located in Bangalore or full-time remote within India as long as the employee knows they have to maintain good solid internet connection.
What Will You Do
- Responsible for overall DevOps and CloudOps systems
- Should be proficient in version control (Github, Gitlab), continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), cloud (OCI, AWS), Kubernetes and Docker
- Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation, taking care of the system health and attending critical issues when arise
- Keep documentations (Confluence) up to date in the areas of expertise
- Upgrade systems and processes when required. You would be expected to triage requests from developers, QA and cloud while automate away toil
- Participate in the release cycles
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - Two to five (2-5) years of experience as a DevOps engineer with experience in public cloud platform
- Hands-on experience with a public cloud platform such as OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes cluster management and Docker
- Solid understanding of multi-stage CI/CD pipeline
- Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Python
- Intermediate experience with python and bash at writing scripts for automations and tools
- Some knowledge around unix debugging
- Familiar and experienced with organized work using ticketing system (Jira)
Bonus Points - Experience with OCI
- Network debugging
- BS/MS in Computer Science (or related technical field)
