Job description
Project and forecast financial outcomes on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. - Review and make decisions on budget proposals, either approving or disapproving them. - Manage financial risks to protect company assets. - Assess and make judgments on potential investment opportunities. - Lead and mentor a finance team, guiding them towards achieving departmental goals. - Direct the allocation of resources and oversee cash flow management to ensure financial stability. - Perform analyses on profits and costs to identify financial performance trends. - Implement secure measures to safeguard sensitive financial data. - Guarantee that all financial operations and audits adhere to regulatory standards and laws. - Advise the board on various financing strategies and options. - Propose strategies to minimize costs and enhance financial efficiency. - Complete financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.
Skills and Qualifications: - Demonstrated experience in a finance leadership role, such as General Manager Finance or Head of Finance. - Deep knowledge of managing cash flows, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining books. - Experience in creating budgets and managing financial risks. - Proficient in analyzing data and building forecasting models. - Skilled in using financial and accounting software. - Strong capabilities in analytical thinking and making informed decisions. - Effective leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team. - Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with additional certifications like CFA or CPA being advantageous.Job tags
