We are currently seeking volunteer WordPress developers from NIT students and alumni to enhance the NITJobs portal. Position: Volunteer WordPress Developer Location: Remote Job Type: Volunteer Eligibility: Applicants must be current students or alumni of any of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India. Passionate about contributing to the NIT community by volunteering time and skills. Technical Skills Required: Proficient in PHP, MySQL, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development. Familiarity with Buddyboss platform open-source plugin, WP Jobs, and other freely available WordPress plugins. Responsibilities: Work on enhancing the NITJobs portal using WordPress CMS. Develop custom plugins and design themes to improve website functionality and user experience. Collaborate with the NITJobs team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Ensure the website is optimized for performance and accessibility.
